Welcome to Heritage Boys Academy!!

Heritage Boys Academy is a ministry of Truth for Troubled Youth Ministries of Panama City, FL. The boys academy opened in December, 1995, and has helped nearly 100 boys in its first 10 years. It is a 24 hour military boarding school program designed to meet the needs of troubled boys, teaching them how to have a relationship with God, respect for others, and demonstrate responsibility and resolve in all behaviour. Heritage Boys Academy gives these boys in trouble a second chance, and provides a structured and disciplined alternative to parents who have come to the end of their rope in dealing with the frustrations, and problems of a rebellious youth. There are 1,500,000 kids running away from home every year in America. 5,000 kids each year are buried in unmarked graves. These runaways and mostly castaways are refugees from a bigger war going on inside the American home. There are 2 million juveniles arrested every year in America. There are many other kids who come from Christian homes who need help. Our desire is to help them.

Presently our academy can accomodate 24 beds. We hope to increase our capacity to help more kids as as soon as a new dorm and school building can be built. The boys academy is located on 20 acres of beautiful land just outside of Panama City, Florida. It is here that youths learn to work hard, play hard, and "endure hardness as a soldier". More importantly, they learn what it takes to become a soldier of the Lord Jesus Christ.
