What's new at Heritage Boys Academy?

Dear Brethren,

We have a vision for reaching troubled youth with the gospel. Nothing has changed in 15 years since we started out on deputation. Truth for Troubled Youth Ministries was founded and started preaching the gospel in numerous juvenile detention centers and other juvenile programs across N.W. Florida. Since 1993, we have seen thousands of youths repent of sin, and put their faith in Jesus Christ.

In 1995, we started the Heritage Home for Boys, now known as Heritage Boys Academy. We have seen nearly 140 boys come through this 24 hour residential program since its start. Our present facility which holds 25 boys is now holding 27. We are out of space and are receiving calls and emails daily from numerous parents desiring placement in the academy. Our boys are experiencing salvation through the power of the gospel as they hear the truth preached twice every day. Many who have been diagnosed with numerous deficiencies and disabilities are experiencing miraculous healing of these leading us to believe they never existed in the first place. The deficiency is in love & discipline, my friends. However, it is our joy to see these boys experience drastic changes in their lives and to see them accomplish much in their school, work ethic, attitude, and respect for authority in the year or so that they are here.

I am coming to you folks on our mailing list who pray for us, and support us in this work. We are in need of more space, and in God’s timing I believe he would have us add on to our present facility. A school addition and new dining area is what we envision. This would open up the present areas being used for these purposes giving us more room for beds, plus a larger, more useful school and dining area for the additional boys that we would be able to accommodate. I ask you to pray with us concerning this need, so that we can answer more calls that we are getting to the affirmative, and not have to turn these boys away.
